.Once again this is another fantastic place for any kid to play and learn. The little person in this picture belongs to me.... she is my baby girl Angela.

We spent several hours exploring each and every exhibit at the Children's Museum. When we talk about vacation the first thing that comes out of Angela's mouth is: "Lets go back to the kids' museum."

After all, with an outside display like this who could resist.......

When calling around to find my daughter April, I called a friend's house and when I asked if he had seen April, he burst out in laughter.

He then proceeded to tell me she was providing live outdoor entertainment for the neighborhood. In more detail he said "she is out there kicking another lady's butt."

Once again my daughter was in another BiPolar episode and I had seen it coming on but since she is almost 18 and has moved out of our home, there is not much I can do about it except ask her to take her meds.

Her medication... more

One of the coolest new ways to create art for your scrapbook pages can be found with a little bit of paint and a sponge.

The craft store has sponges in all shapes and sizes that can be used to create just the right look you may want on any art page for a scrap book or poster and can be even used to decorate children's walls.

It just takes a little time and it is a lot less expensive than those custom wall papers that people are buying all the time. You do not need to spend a lot of cash on scrap booking materials either. When you can make wonderful... more

Categories: Welcome To Our World

Over the past several weeks, I have been very ill. I have a bone infection in my foot. So I was sent home with a PicLine IV. Each day I have had 2000 milligrams of Vancomyicn drifting through my IV to help cure the bone infection.

My surgeon said to "Stay Off My Feet." So my house needs cleaned, my outside Christmas lights still need taken down and I have no energy to do it.

Thank goodness for my husband. He managed to put away most of the boxes from where I took down the inside decorations. So a little at a time I have been trying to get it done.

My daughter Angela is so spoiled. I really hadn't noticed until lately exactly how spoiled we have let her become.... more

Well my bull headed, older brother made it through Quadripple By Pass Surgery. The doctor said if he follows the rules he will be better than new in a few months. What a wonderful thought to be in great health after almost dying.

My brother however is the most hard headed person on earth. Mr. Know it all. Mr. Why didn't you just let me die if it was going to hurt this much. His nurse told him to breath deeply and he told her to go home early. To which she replied she would work a double shift just to harass him if he would not... more

Recently I was contacted by a local parent who was having trouble getting the school to understand her concern for her son.

She had asked that her son be moved from one teachers class to another. The principal tried to the mother and placed the child in another classroom.

When the child continued to have a difficult time. The parent became concerned again. Thinking his behavior should not call for the child to be placed outside of the class room and made to redo work he had already completed.

The Teacher and the Principal both... more

It is time to make sure all the bases are covered. All the presents are wrapped. All the cookies are baked. All the scrap books pages are ready.....so don't forget to buy film.

One Christmas we decked all the halls, Placed all the presents. Set up the camera. Took a bite of Santa's cookies and drank all his milk. Scurried off to bed just in time to wake up and find out with sleepy eyes....WE HAD FORGOTTEN TO BUY FILM.

So all of those memories of our hard Christmas work was left to our own little reflective hearts. No pictures.... more
