Have you ever noticed there was a scary silence in the house? When you have kids. You know that usually means trouble.

It has been a total joy to have my grand children here. But today we had a moment of silence that turned in to another whole home improvement project that Grandma will have to do.
We grabbed the camera to find my grandson Devin standing in the kitchen. When his mom and I snuck up behind him. She said "Devin what are you doing?" To which he replied "I workin Momma."

For each of my children I hand made a Life Time Scrapbook. It begins with any Biological Family History we may have of them. All of this is placed in the back of the scrapbook in a time capsule section.
I chose special fabric for each book. One that was my child's favorite color or a theme they were presently into. I trimmed each book with lace. Tied them with ribbon. Then placed special pages inside them that represented each child and the accomplishments they have made.
There are places for pictures, friends phone numbers, notes, birthday... more
Here I sit groggy eyed and my body is tired. I try and lay down and so many things are pressing on my thoughts that sleep fails me.
Parents around the world spend many a night like this. Worrying for their children. Worrying if their decisions are right for their children. Choice by choice we make an impression on our family with each decision we make.
There is no right or wrong decisions. Someone has to choose what color to paint the house or if we can afford a new car or which bills to pay and which ones can wait till next pay day.
Everything just falls into the melting pot of daily balance. Sure some times you will make down right rotten decisions. Some... more

Whe DHS placed her in a pre adult home. I felt sorry for her. With all of our family dying and my oldest daughter being in the hospital. I let my heart rule my home again. April begged "Mommy please let me come back home. You are my family I belong with you." Well I did it.
I let April come home. The first week home she was back to her old ways. Thinking her attitude was going to... more
