Have you ever noticed there was a scary silence in the house? When you have kids. You know that usually means trouble.
Recently I had my oldest adopted daughter and her two little ones visiting here with Grandma and Grandpa. As their dad did some home improvement work for us on our bathroom.
It has been a total joy to have my grand children here. But today we had a moment of silence that turned in to another whole home improvement project that Grandma will have to do.
We grabbed the camera to find my grandson Devin standing in the kitchen. When his mom and I snuck up behind him. She said "Devin what are you doing?"
To which he replied "I workin Momma."
He was working al right ripping down grandma's kitchen wall paper I had just put up. (Giggle) His daddy has been ripping out the small bathroom and remodeling it for us. So now Devin has decided my kitchen needs a new look too.
We took pictures of him and needless to say this will be an expensive memory for grandma but a good one just the same. He really thought he was doing a good job. From the looks of the wall. He was doing his first remodeling project.
My husband just giggled along with me. Needless to say his mommy was not to happy with him. But those are the breaks in life. I can't wait to share the pictures of Devin in the kitchen with my family. He had a diaper and a hard hat on. The cutest little contractor I have seen in months.
Of course we ran copies off for his scrap book. It is so full now we need to make another one soon.
It is all apart of catching the memories.
