School has just begun and it is a great time to take some of your spare time and up date your Scrap Books.
Capturing memories is as easy as the push of a button now with the high tech digital cameras.
Your local Staples, Office Depot, or Curicut City will have many different Font and Art programs just for scrap booking. They can help you create some of the most original and beautiful pages to include in your child's own personal book.
I like to document the first day of each school year.
I also like to put a picture of their teacher and capture fun moments with their best friends. I make new pages for each activity that they get involved in such as baseball, dance, tumbling, basketball or home coming float creation.
My daughter Angela is fascinated with her baby scrap book I created. She often asks for me to get it down and allow her to look through it one more time.
I have everything from her first bath documented, right down to when she kidnapped mommy's make up and applied it to her own face. So it is full of good moments of laughter.
Some of the things you will need to make your scrap book more interesting are:
1.) Colorful paper.
2.) A good art CD.
3.) Photos of your child or certificate.
4.) Use personal information like your child's name
to make your designer page more interesting.
5.) Add an image that will let you know at first
site what will be on that page. Such as a
school bus or basketball or cross if it is a
personal event.
6.) Get creative this is your book so use your own
talent to make it special.
7.) Print an extra page just incase you need it.
8.) Use protective plastic pages to insert your
art work scrap book page into. This will
protect it for years to come.
9.) Store your books in a safe place.
These scrap books will last forever if you just take a little extra care of them. Using the plastic pages will protect it also and allow the kids to be able to look at it without damaging the pages you have saved in time.
Happy Scrap Booking.
