An Up Date On Family

Well my bull headed, older brother made it through Quadripple By Pass Surgery. The doctor said if he follows the rules he will be better than new in a few months. What a wonderful thought to be in great health after almost dying.

My brother however is the most hard headed person on earth. Mr. Know it all. Mr. Why didn't you just let me die if it was going to hurt this much.
His nurse told him to breath deeply and he told her to go home early. To which she replied she would work a double shift just to harass him if he would not cooperate.

So here he is. We are great full to God he made it through this and he is whining because it hurts to breath or to move. I know some men are babies when it comes to being sick. But he takes the cake.

He and I have never been really close because he is the oldest child and I am the baby. But this is one time they patched a phone call in for me so I could tell him I loved him and to get up off his butt and stop his whining. If his little sister can make it through that surgery and be home in five days (even with a stroke and loss of eye sight) He can breath for the nurse and try to walk.

Then I called him my fond nick name for him "Chicken Chit".

Next thing I knew he was babbling away on the phone and when he stopped yelling I said "Thank You" Now keep deep breathing or I will call back soon.

I guess when life has been so easy for some of us.
It really does seem deadening when something unexpected happens to us. Due to my fight with diabetes and heart disease I know the financial struggles and body pain that occurs and I know I have to face it and over come it daily.

On the other hand you take someone like my brother who has never had any kind of illness in his entire life until now at 65....and he is complaining because it hurts to breath. Poor Baby. (Giggle)

Thank you all for the prayers and good wishes you have sent up for me and my spoiled older brother.
Good news he will live. Bad news is he will live according to him.(evil grin) Bottom line is prayer works and I am great full for all of you who keep up with us and read with us on a daily bas is...Thank You.
