		<description>Our plastic covers never lasted long.  We started replacing them about bi-monthly for awhile because I was determined not to let the kids ruin my mattresses.  A friend of mine has kids that sneak downstairs at night to sleep (and pee) on the couches - ewww.  She is beside herself, wanting to disinfect her house from floor to ceiling and throw out the couches, rip out the carpet.  I hope for her sake they do outgrow it like mine have (for the most part).</description>
