Tyler Perry's-Madea's Family Reunion - Movie DVD

It is no secret that today's funny man in drag is Tyler Perry.

When I sat down and watched "A Diary of a Mad Black Woman." I was riddled with emotion. It was charming, it was heart breaking, it was funnier than anything I have seen in ages. It made me open up and feel for the woman loosing her home and her marriage. It made me respect her for landing on her feet and then it made me giggle with understanding when she slapped some since into her almost ex husband.

All the time while Madea had everyone rolling with laughter. She is everything people feel and want to say or do.

I really could not wait for "Madea's Family Reunion" to come out on video and DVD. I wanted to see Madea be a foster mom. I through they would run with that and it would be funny as heck.

Needless to say they lost a big opportunity to make Madea my hero. It showed Madea opening up and doing a Whoopass sorta thing on the girl to get her in check. They it showed her with a bag of belts trying to choose the right one to whip the girl because the girl had skipped school and lied to Madea.

The only touching scene was when Madea told her she could be what ever she wanted to be and she made the kids on the bus stop harassing the girl.

I know that every foster parent has felt like whooping a kid. But in reality we would never do that. Especially not with a belt and not at the loss of our license.

I liked the first film much better. But I am a Big Tyler Perry Fan. He knows what life is like and he knows we need humor. He has shown a positive black man as a real man an lover in both of his Madea Movies. It is about time someone has shown that aspect.

If you need a good laugh catch up with Madea......She can provide you with what you need when you need it. Be it a Piece of cold hard steal or a Can of Whoopass reality or simple good clean laughs.
