It is that time of year again.
School is out and every where you look there is a Graduation Party going on in full swing.
After attending several this year myself. I found myself reorganizing and thinking of better ways to get it all done and allow the "Proud Parents" more time to relax and party.
To keep the party on budget. It might be smart to shop at Gordens Food Service or any bulk food place you may have in town. Things like Potatoe Salad, Macorroni Salad and Cole Slaw can be purchased already made and ready to serve. All you have to do is pour it into a tin pan and cover it.
Any food you can purchase like that which is already made and ready to serve is a plus. It saves time and it tastes almost as good as your own homemade.
A cold meat tray is always a good idea. Not every one will have time to sit down with you and have a full course meal. Choose no more than three hot food items. It will be more than enough to maintain those three and still free up your celebration time.
Remember most people will just drop by to drop off a card and make their Congratulations to our Graduate.
So tons of food will only go to waste.
Having one gift table where you display a beautiful graduation cake in the center. Is always a good idea.
Keeping things as simple and fun for the graduate is what is most important. Graduation Parties should also go with a time limit. Two to Four hours is enough time to keep food displayed and allow your guests to eat. You can customize your invitations to say Brunch served from 2 until 6 PM.. Music and Festivities until 8 PM..
This will offer everyone time to stop in and catch a bite or just stop over to drop off a gift.
It is always good to include your Graduate in all the planning for the party. It offers them their first opportunity to manage a fun celebration for family and friends.
Remember to keep things as quick and easy as possible. So that everyone has time to celebrate and have fun. Party On.
