Making friends can be as easy as inviting someone else to join you when you are doing something fun.

This would be a great place to get a few ideas and maybe a few fun things to do around the house for when your new friends come over to play.

First we have to make new friends so let's try this:

1.) Be friendly at school. Show a positive attitude and welcome others into your space. If you help others feel at home around you. The hardest part of making friends is done.

2.) Say thank you and remember your manners. Something as little as this can attract other good kids into your life.

3.) Smile and say good bye to people as they leave.
A good hello smile works wonders too.

4.) Take a walk around your block or take a trip to the local park. Say hello if you see other kids playing out side.

5.) If someone is sitting alone at lunch time ask them to join you. NO one wants to be alone. Good friends always sit together and share a snack.

6.) Be nice to the kids that come with your mom and dads friends. If your families are going to hang out you might as well be friends with their kids too.

7.) Check out the kids at your day care or after school program. If your parents agree. Ask a friend to come over on the weekend or some night after school.

If you show a happy and well mannered personality.
You will attract happy and well mannered people.
It is all up to you and once you know someone. Go do some fun things and make your friendships stronger. Basketball, baseball, football, soccer, bike riding, building a snowman or having a sleep over or movie night.
