It has taken me a few days to pull myself together enough to blog on the Prime Time TV interview with
"Yates."
I listened as they told of her being a nurse. I listened as they said she was on medications for mental issues. I listened when they said that her doctor had taken her off "Halladol."
I listened as they described how her husband took her to a street preacher, who dressed as a devil and told his followers that "It was the mothers who responsible for their children going to Heaven or Hell."
I listened as her therapist told of how she had "Post Partdom Stress Disorder." Which got worse with each pregnancy. By this time she was pregnant with her 5th child.
Hello.....why didn't someone get this woman some help prior to her drowning her five beautiful children in the bath tub?
Where was that Therapist? Why didn't she have DHS pull the children and place them some where safe until Mom could get her medications straight?
And.....Why do we not have a law that prevents women who kill their children from ever bearing children again?
Do you realize she is going to go through therapy.
At some point seem stable and be released? What will stop her from having more children?
I hear stories like this and I wish I could draw the bath water and drown the woman myself. No mercy was given to all those children. It does not matter to me that she placed them lovingly (dead) on the bed.
This woman should tremble and fear because when she stands before God....I am sure he will have a nice warm place for her to shovel coal for the rest of eternity. And if he doesn't then he is not the God I love and believe in.
Prison should be prison for people like this. Had I done what this woman had done I would plead for the death penalty. I would not want to live in a world without my children. How could I live with myself had I taken the life of the children God gave me to cherish?
I'm sure there are women out there and men who believe she is innocent. Well let's hear from you.
Someone tell me why this woman deserves to live when her children will never take a breath again. All done by their mothers own hands.
I have no sympathy or mercy for people who bring harm to children. What do you think? Is she innocent by proof of insanity? If so, then who is guilty for not doing their job and getting this woman help? How about the father? He took her to the street minister. He knew she was off a little.
Someone should suffer for this loss of life. Why didn't he take his children and put his wife some where to get help before his kids lost their life?
I gave myself time and I still am angry at the system
because this woman fell through the cracks. Someone had to notice she needed mental help sooner. Who prescribed the Halladol?
Your opinions count to me. How do you feel about all this?
