It is often hard for children to sleep when it is still light outside. One way to help the children get used to earlier bed times is to pull the blinds or hang darker curtains on the windows. This will allow the kid's to know it is time for sleep.
Getting dinner routine back on schedule is also a good idea. It will also help the body settle in to a good routine.
It may take us a few weeks to get back into the swing of the good life but it will happen. For those sleepy heads who hate to wake up in the morning. Turning on music is always a fun way to encourage the body and mind to get up and move.
There is nothing like a sleeping child to make your heart warm. I know each night I walk through the house and check on everyone. When they are safe and sleeping all is well in my life.
