Everyone should be all geared up and ready for the Halloween Night of Fun. Everyone seems to be dressing up and attending Devils Night parties and standing in long lines to be scared by the ghosts and goblins of Haunted Houses too.
There is a cold chill in the air and winter is just weeks away. I love to see the little kids when they are dressed in big fuzzy costumes that keep them safe and warm.
We have been putting on music and watching spooky DVD's for the past week as a family. Tonight we were talking about old Halloweens of years gone past. When the streets would ring out in chimes of Trick or Treaters glee or Halloween Parties would be hosting funny dance songs like the Monster Mash.
Before I knew it my husband was singing in a spooky goofy voice. The words to that song. My daughter and her friends were laughing and everyone was dancing around. Every time I see Frankenstein or someone dressed as Count Dracula I think of that silly song.
Do your children know the words and tune of The Monster Mash? If not, you might want to find it and kick up your heels and give your kids some funny chills.
Songs like that never seem to get old. So come on everybody lets dance and giggle Devils Night away.
Halloween is almost here and it is time for all to play.
