The Schoolastic Book Clubs have a very cool book in their children's order forms for "How to have a sleep over".
It is filled with goodies for the host or hostess:
It Includes:
1.) Invitations and envelopes.
2.) Dirrections on how to decide the date and time.
3.) A list of party snacks to serve.
4.) A list of games to play like, A Picture In the Dark, Three legged race, Who Committed Murder.
5.) Dirrections on how every game is played.
6.) What to do when it is near bed time. Like have a tooth paste tasting contest. Which involves three different brands of tooth paste. Each child choose which one that they like the most then everyone chooses their favorite to brush their own teeth before bed.
7.) It even includes easy breakfast lists that the kids can make themselves and allow mom to sleep in.
Angela is going to try it out on Saturday night and get back to us on how much she and her friends liked or disliked this sleep over plan.
As far as I can tell she loves it already from the giggles I hear as she is reading it with her co host and friend Hanna.
Our grandson made the invitation list so this should be interesting. (giggle) He is only 3.
They want him to be their baby when they play house.
I want to see if they can get him to sleep without him screaming for his mommy. Stay tuned for a silly up date. It should be a heart warming experience for us all.
