Mommy and Me Time

Teaching children to occupy their own time is a valuable lesson. However, you have to find the happy balance between alone time and parent child time.

The summer season is a good time to choose a day and plan a project for you and the kids to do. I call our special time "Mommy and Me" time. Of course it is just as important to have "Daddy and Me" time also.

So far we have managed to plant a flower garden.
Bake blueberry muffins and cup cakes. Cook a breakfast. Go to the park. And, see a Movie together.

We spent the early evening this week seeing "Garfield, A Tale of Two Kitties." Along with kiddie popcorns and a soft drink. We laughed and enjoyed every moment.

After the movie we dropped a few quarters in a video game, then stopped to grab dinner out and headed our way back home. Angela loved it. She said we had a date night. I giggled and agreed that she was the best date in the world.

Some times it is just the little things in life that you do that make the good memories. The ones we will cherish for our life time.

What kind of memory moments have you made with your child? We encourage you to leave a comment so that other parents can obtain good ideas for doing quality
moments with their children.

One of the best ways to come up with good information is to talk it up and listen to other parents around you. We are all full of great ideas.

It is wonderful when we can come together and inspire one another. So leave a comment and share your job.
