A celebration occurred here in Michigan yesterday as the body of little Ricky HOlland was laid to rest.
Mourners and Supporters of Childrens Rights came out to help say good bye and watch as his body was buried and he was given a final resting place.

Ten years from now only a few of us will remember him. Only a few of us will recall how his adopted parents murdered and discarded his little body in a trash bag on a lonely road.

My hope and prayers will be that one child is saved.
From the story of this child's demise.

The parents are serving their time. His body is now
buried. The case is closed.

At least for Ricky justice did finally prevail. In many cases of child abuse and child death. The person who inflicts the pain or discards the body may never be caught.

Thanks to America's Most Wanted and Adam's Father who hosts the show. Many are now in jail and many others will be hunted down and caught.

The child alert system prevailed this past week and a little boy who was abducted was found by police.

Just by the description of the van the child had been pulled into. In finding this little boy they found a second child that had been abducted five years earlier.

So our faith in the "Good" systems that have come from such tradgities such as Adam's death and Like Ricky Hollands death are working to keep other children safe.

As a parent I always feel "There by the grace of God go I." When I hear of children being abducted or missing. That is every parents worst nightmare.
And.....It can happen to the best of parents.

Teaching your child how to scream and kick and yell and do anything necessary to get away and call attention to them selves while someone is trying to
take them...is one of the best safety tips you can give to your family.

Working together maybe someday our world can be a safer place to live for everyone.
