Ricky Holland: Who will bury his body?

Everyone who has read anything about the Ricky Holland case on this blog knows that I am very passionate about this little boy. How he lived.
And, Why he was murdered.

I have followed his story from the beginning. Now after both the adoptive parents have been tried and sentenced for murder. Now as they sit behind bars.
The question of "Who gets Ricky's body to bury?" is being reviewed.

If you ask me, I think they should place his little body in a monument and let it stand as a daily memorial out side of the County DHS office.

So that each worker passing by can be encouraged on a daily basis to do their job to the best of their ability. Lest one more child's life slips through and falls through the cracks of justice.

We all know once someone's life is taken away there is no justice to be found. It does not matter if the murderer is caught and sitting in prison day after day. Nothing can bring back life to the one we lost and loved.

So instead of more prisons. I dare say we need to spend more time and effort finding ways to discourage violence and bring life back into our nation.

Every day some helpless child receives the death penalty by the hands of some abuser. As we fight state by state to question is "Death Sentancing"
a good solution to prison over population or is life sentencing more humane.

Well I am very clear where I stand on this issue. I would gladly push the button on any known child offender or rapist. I doubt I would lose sleep over it one bit.

But then again there could be no shadow of a doubt that the person was guilty. Like the Hollands of this world.

So who will get Ricky's body? Isn't it obvious that the state will be the one who takes responsibility for it's burial. Ricky is no longer trapped in that body. If there is a heaven I am sure he is playing in God's garden. I am just glad that this little man can rest now. We have given him as much justice as jail can afford.

Let us pray that life is passionate and there will be no more children that will live through what Ricky lived through. Rest in the white light of the Holy Spirit Ricky. This is our wish for you.
