Take A Deep Breath and Count To 1000

Have you ever had one of those days that seem like a perfect example of Murphy's Law. If it could happen it will happen?

Well on those days I don't think counting to 10 works very well. Before you get to the number 10 someone is off doing something else that will make you livid.

Our house is usually a busy house. So sometimes on days like that not even going off into my bedroom works very well. Someone will just come knocking with another issue.

So I run away into the bathroom. At least in there I am sure to get at least five minutes of peace before someone else asks "Who is in the bathroom."

Only bad thing is ....Who wants to breath deep in a bathroom ....giggle.

There are so many things you can do to calm down.
You can take anger management classes and toss 50 bucks into the air or you can stop and sit down and think of happy moments in your life.

Choose one of those rip roaring times when no one could stop laughing and remember WHY? Entertain that thought long enough to cool off and give you back some of the humor in life.

Or you could take the dog for a walk. The good things about dogs is the walk or run with you as fast or as slow as you want to go and they do not talk back. They understand your feelings. Give you TLC and some needed fresh air. No wonder they are called mans best friend.

At last resort you can Take A Deep Breath and Keep On Counting until it all fades into the distance and you can handle the moment.

Whatever works for you...happy parenting.
