Well here we go with some new about Ricky Holland, the child killed with a hammer and stuffed into a trash bag and left on the side of the road. All of this believed to be done by his parents. One parent against the other and the dad finally takes police to where Ricky's little body is found.

Is it sad that the parents are in jail? "NO." They as adults made a decision to adopt this little boy. Then they made another decision to kill this little boy.

I wonder what Ricky felt like as the hammer came smashing down on his body. From the very hands that should have been protecting him and seeking help for him?

We have no room on this earth for people who murder their children. It infuriates me that my tax dollars even house and feed them in jail.

The news has it that they will be back in court this week. The Hollands are being tried for Open Murder and Child Abuse. I think it is a little to late for the child abuse issue.

I have had very difficult children in my home. I wear bruises today from trying to restrain my bipolar daughter while she was in a fit of rage this past weekend.

Even in the height of her anger and lashing out at me, it never entered my mind to harm my daughter. What went thought my mind was to try and restrain her so she didn't hurt anyone else or demolish my house or harm herself. All I wanted was to help her calm down.

I know the Hollands could not have lived through as much abuse from a little boy like that as I have personally and my family has while trying to raise April. At five she was a little devil (giggle) but we survived. So did she.

Children are often small and the brunt of the adult frustrations. They are easy to knock around and they love so easily and endlessly that they don't tell on mom or dad. That is just sad.

Living a life of abuse is harmful to everyone around it. Physical, emotional, mental - it is all abuse.

My prayer for Ricky Holland and all the little ones who have lost their life by the hand of an abuser is that heaven is so much sweeter for them than anyone else.

What is your opinion on abuse? What is your stand on spanking? What is spanking? How far should body contact during anger go? When is it better to just give up and say help? I'd rather see a child go back through the system than be murdered at the angry hands of a parent figure.

Boy I know we all mess that one up....including me at times. God have Mercy on us all.
