The Children Left Behind

When nine-eleven hit and the world stood still. As we faced our first serious Terrorist Attack. The world fell silent and America fell on her knees.

When the rubble was finished falling and the day was nearing the end. We grieved for all the families of the people who would never be coming home again.

God love the children. Left in this world to face life without that parent. Taken from them by the worst act of terrorism that America has ever known on her land.

Just like the children each day who loose a parent in the fighting that goes on in the world. From Africa to Iraq. Now the shores of home welcome back the bodies of our soldiers each and every day.
They too leaving children behind to be raised by extended family and single parents.

What about the children who become orphans? Who loose both parents or the only family they have in these since less wars or acts of terrorism?

They too are introduced to the world of adoption and their life will be as good or bad as the family that adopts them.

Let's face it. There are not as many good homes out there in foster care or adoption as we think.
We need more good families. People with compassion and the will to love.

Someone sitting there today reading these words. You may be wondering about adoption and have not made up your mind yet. If you are a good person and can give a child love and support. Help them do home work once in a while and bake cookies or buy some for their class treats. What are you waiting for?

We are in a time. Standing in a place. Where some ones beloved child may need you or me to cover
what they can no longer give to their children. A home. A safe place to sleep.

Many of those people may be the ones out there dying for the sake of our safety and freedom here on our home land shores.

If you are serious about being an adoptive parent.
The time is now. Do the work and find the agency.
Reach out and touch the life of a needy child today.

The world is waiting. Placing one child at a time.
