The End Of Summer Sniffles

Well just like millions of children are rushing around getting ready to return to school. They are also falling into those nasty sinus infections and end of summer colds.

As parents we can tell when it is coming on when we hear the coughs, the sniffling and the "Mommy my throat is sore" or "Mommy my ear hurts."

It may be a good idea to take your child in for a quick check up. Keep some children's cold medicine on hand and make sure your Thermometer is in good working condition.

Using Antibacterial soap and hand wash is a good idea to insure germ control at home base. There are also some antibacterial hand cleaners on the market for when you are not able to wash your hands well.

Brush your kids up on the manners of covering their mouth and nose when they sneeze. Tell them to always wash their hands when possible at school.
To be kind and use tissue when they cough and or have sniffles.

As normal as colds come and go. It is still good to help make your child as comfortable as possible when they do not feel good. A little TLC and good common sense never hurt anyone.

Just keep some up to date fever medication and buy up those cute tissues for those tender little noses.
Lots of good veggies and soup can warm the heart and the tummy of our little ones. Add a vitamin and chase away colds faster.

It is all in a day of parenting.
