Here we sit in our nice quiet home. Our youngest daughter occupy herself so much so that we hardly know she is here. That is unless she gets bored and wants mommy and daddy time.

I had been thinking about fostering children again but had not really discussed it with my husband. Today as we were driving over to my daughters house he said "Honey we just might want to put a new coat of paint on the up stairs bedrooms and fix them up again and maybe foster care." I just about lost a heart beat. He and I have always had this connection.

It is like he can finish my sentences and I can finish his. We think so much alive at times it scares me. I honestly do not ever want to be on this earth without him by my side.

We opened up the conversation and we discussed what ages we would want to foster care. If I were in better health I would love to foster infants age 0 to siblings up to 18 years old. But I have one shoulder that I need to have work done on before I can handle diaper bags, car seats and toddlers again.

So for now we are thinking children ages 4 to 18.
So over the next month we will repaint the up stairs and go from beautiful queen beds back to bunk beds and trundles. Dad will have to replace the light covers we took off when we painted the living room and up date the electric in the up stairs like he has down here.

So as we are getting a few projects done we will keep thinking about "if" we are up to foster care again. God knows we love children and we have done a fine job with our first four even with April and her Issues. So we will see where this conversation takes us.

At 46 and 42 we are beginning to feel our ages. But we are at a good time in our life for watching football games and cheering on a few more kids.
The first trip was a roller coaster ride. Maybe this time we can slow it down some to a Merry Go Round. What do you think our chances are lol More like the Hymalayan on high speed. With my luck.
