Do you remember the exact moment you fell in love? Or did your love just blossom over time? Do you have someone in your life that you love so much, that you could not imagine life without them?
There is nothing more precious than a lasting love relationship that grows and, one day brings forth fruit. We all want the Husband/Wife, The house, The Car, The Dog and One Day Children. It is just the natural path that love takes two people when it is that special kind of love. The one you know can last forever if you both work on it.
When that love creates a child. The happiness is beyond expression. As the child begins to develop and grow. So do your dreams for it. You begin to prepare for this blessed baby. Boy or Girl you pick the perfect place for a nursery in your home. You begin to shop and pick out a few things that you know every baby needs.
Someone like a friend or family member usually makes a big event like a "Baby Shower" to welcome your new baby.
All this time you spend bonding and what you are doing is creating a loving family. A new blood line.
A new branch to your personal family tree. One that can be traced back on both mom and dads side. There are Grandma's and Grandpa's, Uncles and Aunts, Cousins and nephews, nieces gal ore. Adding the numbers and people they marry. You find a genealogy of time and people. All of which by some blessed event through birth are apart of your very own blood line.
As an Adoptive Parent. I belong to a new blood line.
One just like the first example founded and bonded by love. Only there was no marriage and the new person was just someone we loved and added to our family through adoption. This person does not share the same blood line as I have and or genealogy. But they are just as much of an important part of our family as any other member.
Many years ago and still in some other countries a crossed the world. There are what people call "Royal Bloodlines." It simply means that the people who belong to this family are of quality or have been chosen by the parents, to one day marry and carry on the Bloodline.
Many people today do not believe in this sort of set up marriages. So not to many "Royal Bloodlines" carry on today. We also noticed that those people were not always of good quality and had flaws just as we do.
I think the only place "Royal Bloodlines" still are plentiful would be in the Animal world. Where you may hear someone say that this horse or dog or cat is a pure breed. Meaning that a full blooded animal of the same kind has created a baby with another animal of the same full blooded kind.
One area to which being "Full Blooded" comes in of great importance is when someone gets sick. They may need a blood donor of the same kind or they may need a family member who matches up just right to donate them bone marrow or another vital organ.
So there is a lot to be said about Family Blood Lines. They do hold some importance. But they are just not the only factor that comes into play when
creating a family. Or having children in your family.
I am sure most of us have an aunt or uncle or someone who we call aunt or uncle...that is not blood related to us. They are just an excepted part of our family and we love them.
Can you imagine how long our genealogy would be if we had to draw separate branches or leaves on our family tree to include all the people we love?
Wow what a thought to think about ! What do you think a family is? What makes you family? It is a good thing to belong to a family tree. That is why we keep up life books and take pictures so we can hold on to and cherish the memories as our life grows and moves on.
